Minor Entertainment is recruiting skin performers

Minor Entertainment was created in 2009 to produce spectacular family theatre events in unique spaces. Over the last eight years In the Night Garden Live (ItNGL), has toured across the UK and has been seen by over 900,000 people. In 2018, ItNGL is touring again and we require off-stage performers for our shows in The O2 and Richmond Old Deer Park, London.

Minor Entertainment is recruiting skin performers for our Front of House ‘Meet a Character’ Experience (MaC). Ticketed family groups can meet their favourite character – Igglepiggle or Upsy Daisy – in a private meeting.

We’re looking for performers with experience of working in full character costume. In order to fit our costumes, performers must be of slim build and between 5’1’’ and 5’5’’ in height. We particularly welcome applications from performers who have previously worked with children.

Upcoming 20th Century Fox movie

This is a rare open casting opportunity for an upcoming 20th Century Fox movie “Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul”. The film will be based on the best-selling book by Jeff Kinney of the same name. Casting directors are on a worldwide search for two boys for lead roles in the upcoming movie. They are looking for boys who are 10 to 12 years old to play Greg Heffley and Rowley Jefferson. This is an amazing opportunity so don’t miss out!

For the lead role of Greg, casting directors are seeking a bright, precocious, and appealing young actor to play age 10 – 12 for the lead role of Greg Heffley in the film version of the New York Times #1 bestseller, “Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul”. Actor must be able to handle dialogue and have a flair for ironic comedy – imagine Larry David in middle school. For the role of Rowley, casting directors are looking for a boy that is broader and heftier than Greg, with a heartbreakingly open, honest, sweet face. Rowley is Greg’s best friend, despite the fact that he is constantly embarrassing him with his childish demeanor. Guileless, earnest and naive, he says exactly what’s on his mind and doesn’t have a bad bone in his body.

If your child fits the requirements and you would like to have them be considered then video auditions are being accepted at Auditions are open to anyone worldwide who fits the requirements. You can get the video audition instructions on the website.
